Pat
Drummond and his wife, Carol, have raised four of their own children.
All four were introduced to computers, music and art by their
parents at a very early age. Three have gone on, in their adult
lives, to foster formidable careers in the Arts.
Matthew
Drummond of Hive Studios International has
developed as a leading Graphic Design, Computer Animation and
Movie specialist who, on October 2, 2014, won the Emmy Award
in New York for "Outstanding Artistic Achievement and Graphic
Design"
for his work with the The History Channel ( The History Of The
World in Two Hours). He had been previously nominated on two
occasions for his work on Documentries and Motion Pictures including
'The Red Planet' and 'The Matrix'. His first solo Feature film,
'Dinosaur
Island'
(Written, Directed, Produced, Filmed and all Special effects
by Matt Drummond) is being released world wide in December 2014.
Pete Drummond is one
of Australia's most sought after drummers having begun his drumming
career at 3. He played on his father's albums from 1993 onwards
and teamed up with Kasey Chambers and her family as 'The Dead
Ringer Band' when they were both 15. He was subsequently endorsed
by Yamaha and became the drummer for The Bushwackers for 10 years.
He currently plays with the Australian Band, Dragon, with whom
he has written and produced two albums. He has written numerous
scores for film and television programs including 'The Voyage
of The Planets" and is much sought after a session drummer.
Meghan
Drummond grew up studying dance and vocal performance. For a
number of years, as an adult, she ran TM Dance, one of the Blue
Mountains most successful Dance schools. She left in 2006 and
has since developed an international career as a performer under
the stage name Muma
Megs.
She has since graced the stage at The Big Day Out and worked
with multiple acclaimed DJs and Hip Hop acts including Sneaky
Sound System, Carl Cox, The Potbellez,The Groove Academy and
a long stint with Martini Club, one of Australia's top DJ/Dance
acts.
Josie
Drummond has only just graduated from school and begun studying
Psychology at the University of Western Sydney. She is Animal
Rights activist and a horse enthusiast.
Pat
has also worked extensively as a Children's Entertainer over
the years.He has trained his grandchildren in microphone techique
and harmony singing and, recently, they joined him to record
a popular Children's CD. The Shark In The
Bath and Other Stories.
His
children's songs, "Black Patch Ted" and "The Bunyip
of Hoologhans Creek", have been recorded by Don Spencer
and The Bullamakankas respectively.
