the MC & will interview Julian Burnside QC ­ eminent human rights barrister and, declared by Melbourne Age readers, a "Living National Treasure".

Blue Mountains' sensation, Didjeridu Dingo & beloved singer/songwriter Pat Drummond will perform. Cheikh Kone ­ Ivory Coast journalist who spent two and a half years in detention - will speak on behalf of refugees. John Doyle (Roy & HG) will conduct a charity Auction. Other guests are still confirming.
The evening will include the interview of two Australian "treasures", some comedy and a raffle.

The building is where the Paddington Markets are held - opposite the Elephant and Wheelbarrow English Pub. You can park in the Church's carpark in Gordon Street - turn right at the Paddington Town Hall and take the first left if coming from the city.

Folk nights at Almost Acoustic are usually the second Saturday of the month, but there are variations to fit in with touring artists. Almost Acoustic is supported by the New South Wales Folk Federation.
