Another Journey. Livi says "Goodbye Poppy...Come back
soon" |
First stop...two lunch concerts at Gartleman's Winery. Good
friends, great wine and a great start to the trip... |
PattheBeardieonstage |
...then it was on to Nelson Bay for an Anzac Day gig at the
Bowling Club... |
...with Karen who drove overnight from Mt Beauty to the gig
and then drove home...What dedication! |
Alone again... and the beginning of three glorious days of... |
...travelling up the coast through... |
Port Stephens and the North Coast. The Panarama.... |
...from the lookout shows the... |
... New South Wales North Coast.. |
...at its beautiful best. As I was to learn later there were
many... |
...middens and signs of Aboriginal Settlement along the... |
...National Parks and beaches of this area. |
The end of day |
The next day, working my way towards Forster, I stopped at
The Grandis.... |
...the tallest tree in NSW... |
...hidden away.... |
...in the forests around Bulladelah. |
It was to be three days of solo travel... |
.... that would track the beaches... |
...and The Great Lakes through the... |
....superb National Parks of NSW. Here at Bundjalong... |
I was just about the only traveller.... |
....beautiful beaches, great facilities and peace.... |
All for the price of a yearly National Parks Pass. |
Eventually time and the next gigs forced me further North
to Brisbane... |
... to the coastal dairy farms and... The Mullumbimby Folk
Club |
Great night Lovely people...now onto the Gold Coast |
What kind of job is this anyway? |
