January 2002

Hi Folks,

Well I have the dubious job of compiling this quarter's newsletter while Pat and Karen are touring in Victoria. I can assure you it will be very short as I'm running on a tight time schedule.

Thank you to all those who turned up to The Crown Hotel. As a result of your support the gigs will continue to run once a month on a Friday night. So mark the dates on your calendars.

New Venues which we would like you to support if you live in the areas or even if you feel like a drive are:-
* The Galston Club - This venue has replaced
The Vicar (Dural Hotel/Motel)
* Central Coast - Tuggerah Lakes Memorial
Club
in June
* Hunter Region - The Victoria Hotel,
Hinton
in June
* Blue Mountains - Glenbrook Bowling Club

on the last Sunday of the month in October,
November and December

Shoestring Records - has received a final nomination in the Australian Country Music Achievers Awards in the category "2002
Record Company of the Year - Independent", not bad for a 'cottage industry' small business.

Naked Poets 3 "Butt Seriously" is almost complete and Pat has finally had time to start recording again and hopefully, all going according to plan, (which is rare for The Drummonds) a new CD will be available later in the year.

On The Home Front
The latest addition to our ever growing family
was a beautiful healthy son for Matthew and Naomi, Jack Riley Drummond, born on 28 February.

PLUS - 2 rabbits which Pat acquired on his Birthday courtesy of Josie.

Come along and say hello at a gig near your town soon.

All The Best
